The manager was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the location was very convenient for exploring the nature and also for doing things in the town. I will come back again when I go to Sedona and recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a simple comfortable place to stay on a budget.
The manager seemed friendly
The room was awful - the mattress was inexplicably wrapped in plastic, and the sheets slid right off. The one clock in the room was broken, the walls were thin, the fridge froze our food, the air conditioner was quite loud. Not really fussy, but couldn't sleep here, and wouldn't stay here again.
The staff at Whitehouse was extremely polite and helpful. Check in/check out was very quick and easy. Also Whitehouse is located very close to plenty of dining, mountain views and activities and just 5 mins from down town Sedona.
Our experience was fantastic, there were only a few small problems (the remote for the tv didn't work, the walls are pretty thin and parking was sometimes problematic) but overall it was a good experience.
I absolutely loved the owners. I can't express enough their kindness and hospitality during our stay. They anticipate your needs before you even ask. The room perfectly suited our needs, was clean, and I especially appreciated the hot water in the shower with plenty of water pressure.
Bed linen did not apear to be clean as there were some crumbs on them. Also linen crumbled up.
The manager/owner was very friendly and accommodating. The motel room was older but comfortable and very reasonable for Sedona. The room had a microwave and a refrig., which was a pleasant surprise. It was a nice place to stay for our one night in Sedona.
The people that own/run the hotel are especially gracious and nice. For the price, it was very clean and comfortable.
No biggie but no coffee or tea nearby.
Comfortable room with very little traffic noise. Spartan, nothing fancy...
Entire hotel surrounded by asphalt, obstructed view of cliffs. Would recommend only if you are planning on using the room for sleeping only, not family w/small children oriented.
This motel has to be the trashiest place I have ever stayed in. The dirty room had mold & mildew under the sink. I travel a lot and this place is disgusting. Hardly any amenities, friendliness of staff and unclean rooms. We would have never booked this had we known. Unfortunately, the place we had booked canceled ou reservation at the last minute so there was not much available. The only thing good about it was the Thai Restaurant on the property. It ruined our trip. Lynn
The room was clean and the location was very convenient for Sedona. There were several excellent restaurants within a short radius.
The view of the red rocks was compromised by the parking lot and business next to the hotel. The towels were small.
Good budget motel, friendly staff and restaurant on site is very convenient, if you like Thai food.
the office dos not open until 8 am, the free breakfast is coffee and a piece of fruit.
Conveniently located, courteous and prompt registration, clean room.
Ir was inexpensive
Towels were thin and rough. Advertised breakfast was Coffee Cookies and a few pieces of fruit
The description/price indicated "breakfast included" but consisted of only coffee and fruit (1 only banana and a few apples were displayed and 4 cookies) and opened only at 8 am. Worse, the photo of the bookings ad in no way corresponds to reality. One is given the impression of a number of cottages but in fact there are 2 very old 2-story buildings. Our room had the bathroom window even on the height of the staircase to the 2nd floor, thus needed to be closed/unaired at all times to maintain privacy.- When looking up the address on Google Earth, we were shown the hotel to be in the Canyon on 89A but it was in fact at the other end of town. We eventually found a tourist info which, however, had no clue where the hotel was to be found. - This was the worst accommodation of our 2 weeks' western trip, comparing quality and price. The room was spacious (the only plus point), the mattress foam rubbery and the price for such a place should have a ceiling of $50 even in expensive Sedona. Description, quality, offer (breakfast included) does in no way correspond to reality.
room was spacious.
